Massive FPS drops and flickering lighting bug

Hi there :)

 

I have modded Skyrim with few dozens mods which work just fine but I get these weird FPS drops and flickering light when I look in certain direction. The video says a thousand words so I recorded it with fraps:

Any idea what might cause these please? :( Thanks in advance!

I don't know if you need more information about the mods I use or something else, so let me know if you do please. I use ENB with ELFX and CoT. Here are my ini files:

You simply got mods installed that're too heavy for your system to handle. When turning you will notice the most fps drop and also flickering at zero fps dips. Your pc is simply struggling to load. When turning your pc has to load a massive load of graphics, especially noticeable when turning 360s like that.

If you're going to correct someone - and to the point where they take notice and question you on your frequency - at least be correct yourself:

Punctuation is just as important as being punctual, dear Wizard. But since you're lax with the former, perhaps you would be with the latter also. There may still be others that find the following information useful.

 

As to the problem, it's not necessarily to do with the limits of your system, or the mods themselves (though they are inevitably the cause). For example, I can run Skyrim comfortably with over 240 mods, however I have encountered this issue with only a few of the same mods, on the same system. It's more to do with an error in how the graphics are being processed. I've only had this issue with an ENB running.

 

By chance, I found that whilst in a menu (Jaxonz renamer), holding [shift + B] seemed to toggle on/off whatever process was causing the FPS drop and weird lighting. For me, I didn't get a flicker though, rather, the shadow of my character seemed to be leaving her body. Hope this is helpful in some way.
