Hi, so I've created a new weapon mod, but have a bit of a problem. I've made the texture/diffuse map, and also made a normal map, both using GIMP. Then I assign the correct texture paths in NifSkope, and test it. But, my normal map isn't showing up. But, the weird thing is, it is kind of... Basically, the weapon has metal rings on the handle which I made a normal map for to make them look like they're indented. But in game, only two of the five rings show up with indents in them?? So it's like only half of the normal map is actually working or something :S I've definitely assigned the normal map to the right texture slot in nifskope (as otherwise I don't think it would show up at all?). I have no idea what the problem is. I've tried making the normal map again from scratch, at least 3 times, but every time I get the same problem, and it's the same two rings that have the indents, and not the other three. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Thanks.
