Trisuniel
Some of the textures in my game are the proper high resolution while others are low resolution. Also the shadows are really blocky. I have everything maxed out with the official high resolution dlc and the unofficial patches. It's like some textures are having trouble loading properly. Not sure what is with the shadows though. My Specs:Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1CPU: Intel Core I7 3770K @ 3.50GHzRAM: 16 GBMotherboard: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. P8Z77-V LX (LGA1155)Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7800 series What could be wrong? What should I try doing?

Some are high and some are low: http://i.imgur.com/0K8JNAy.jpg So anybody know what I should try to fix this?
Nazgren
Hmmm, what visual mods are you using? Even on lowest settings with no hi res dlc they shouldn't look that bad. Your GPU shouldn't be struggling unless its close to dieing, do you have any graphics issues with other games? The shadows are handled by the CPU and yours is slightly faster then mine so i know your cpu is good enough and its unlikely that that happens to be dieing too, could also be a mod issue Edited September 19, 2014 by Nazgren

The only mods I'm using is the unofficial patches. I don't have any other graphic issues with other games. I feel like it's having trouble loading. I'm going to get a screenshot of an area of the game when I started noticing this. This area is even worse then what I have shown.

Nazgren
I cant see the problem being caused by missing files but verifying the game could be worth a shot. Whats your load order like? You may have the unofficials the wrong way round. If that doesnt work then i would try completely removing skyrim except of course for your saves, get rid of the entire skyrim folder and your skyrim.ini and skyrim prefs.ini and then reinstall and see if it works then. Trisuniel
My load order is correct. I even tried disabling the unofficial patches and loading a save before I used them. I also tried verifying. Still have the texture problem. Anything else I could try doing before I reinstall Skyrim?
Nazgren
Are you sure its correct? Don't think there correct just because loot or boss says so. I've heard that excuse before when it also turned out to be the problem. Whenever you change mods you should really start a new save to test if everything's working. Loading an old save is never an accurate representation. Make a new game with nothing but vanilla skyrim and see what happens. There could be an issue in your .ini's, theres a few codes in there that could cause texture and shadow issues in there like this
Trisuniel
Well I loaded a save before I had installed the unofficial patch. I also disabled the patch. So pretty much I loaded a save without the patches enabled and before I even used the patches. I'm loading a save that is vanilla and there is still graphic issues. Here is my load order anyway though:Skyrim.esmUpdate.esmUnofficial Skyrim Patch.espDawnguard.esmUnofficial Dawnguard Patch.espHearthfires.esmUnofficial Hearthfire Patch.espDragonborn.esmUnofficial Dragonborn Patch.espHighResTexturePack01.espHighResTexturePack02.espHighResTexturePack03.espUnofficial High Resolution Patch.esp I'm currently reinstalling Skyrim and it will over over 4 hours. Any other advice you can give while I wait? Edited September 19, 2014 by Danielzxzx
