They look super lore friendly to me! I mean, really anything can be pretty lore friendly in Skyrim/Elder Scrolls if you read the various lore stuff. I mean seriously, there's an imperial city on the moon that got there via a giant moth spaceship. Giant transforming robots would be also super lore friendly. I mean skyrim is missing the giant sky whales that shoot rainbows out of their blow holes.

Now on topic: Would if I made some custom textures for the guys and gals? Maybe switch up their hairstyles, give the bosmers antlers.

I've noticed there's a fairly empty area on the other side of Ysolda's house that nobody ever seems to make use of. Maybe it could be the new location for the tavern, so it's not that big of a change. Same general location, just a different spot. It's the area somewhat behind/between the Bannered Mare and Ysolda's house. I can't recall any of the Whiterun overhauls that even bother with that area, so it remains pretty vacant.

An Open Cities version that adds the bands shack into the Open City Skyrim would be nice. For me, it's not much of a big deal, as you can still access by entering the closed Whiterun. But I think it would definitely help immersion and other things. Unfortunately, many mods don't really support Open Cities.

By the way, I think you would be a great NPC creator for Beyond Skyrim. At least the Followers. I told them they need someone like you, or another great Follower creator to make some followers for Beyond Skyrim. However, you're really busy with this, and I can definitely understand that. Anyways, good luck with the mod!

From what I understand, Open Cities can be SUPER buggy, and that's not surprising considering what I heard you have to DO to make a city "open." So that's not going to happen. I'm not touching Open Cities.
I did some voicing for Beyond Skyrim: Cyrodiil, the town of Bruma. I don't think I would want to write for any other mod (unless I could also voice the character!). Keep my good ideas in house haha!

It has to do with the memory, and it can be buggy, especially when you're pushing a lot of resources around. That's Skyrim though. Just a few MB off with the Memory allocation patch, and you can screw it up. It's that way because when BGS fixed the PS3 version's memory allocation to let it run faster, they accidentally applied it on the PC version too. It was the last patch too, so they wouldn't of done anything anyways. If you're going to do it on a game with only a dozen or so mods, it's perfectly fine. It also depends on your system too. I have around 220 mods, 2k textures and so forth, and it runs fine for me.

As for the voice acting. I am sure they wouldn't mind. I would ask them in the chat, (I'm the PR of the site that hosts it) but it's late.

Hmm, I think you should create characters inside the CK and then customize them using 3rd party software, I do it this way when I create followers to share with my friends because CK can't handle ECE or RaceMenu correctly, hope this helps.

Yeah, I don't think that artstyle is something that can be "lore-friendly" or "lore-unfriendly". That, I think, can be applied only to characters/plots/backstories. Of course, artstyles can be jarring, but yeah, as the author said, you can modify it for strictly personal use.

Well if you mean they aren't ugly enough to stop a clock like stock Skyrim characters then yeah they're not lore-friendly. As for being brutal and rude, not everyone in stock Skyrim is that. And frankly I don't mind characters that look like they bathed and washed their faces now and then, if this is what you mean by pretty and clean...

I'm actually weeping over here over Elyndra. She won't follow me anymore because I'm a Stormcloak. This is a huge disappointment in comparison to the old version of Anna NPCs. I know it's intended as a feature of the mod but could it be possible to rig up an alternative where she follows us after I do some things to convince her? I really like that character. Thanks!

Or maybe, for balance's sake, another character won't follow you if you're an Imperial? Like Nadina, she HATES Imperials, right? She blames them for killing her friend, I can imagine she would attack someone for being an Imperial since she has all but sworn revenge against them, but logically speaking, not following an Imperial is the least she'd do. It would actually be kind of crazy for her to follow an Imperial. Just my thoughts.

In response to post #19022009.

The difference is that Nadina resents ALL military, not just Imperials. Also, as a mercenary, she'll follow anyone who pays her. Elyndra heartily supports Imperials and hates Stormcloaks because of Ulfric's murder of the High King, for in doing so, he took away someone she loved, and she follows out of loyalty. I will develop her character further for later release, and might add a "Stormcloak favor" quest. But at present, with her strong Imperial loyalty, it just doesn't make sense for her to be so friendly toward a Stormcloak player.
Thanks very much for using the mod, I'm glad you like her :)
