Your guide to properly cleaning one's save for updating to the new version of this mod is a GODSEND shrikebot. So much so that I've bookmarked it in my browser for future reference in the event that I need to clean my saves again in the event of a mod uninstall or update that requires a clean save procedure to be performed. Peace!

Will there be a German translation available soon? Do you know if anybody is working on it?

In response to post #18942599.

Couple months ago somebody ask if he/she could do a german translation.
We welcomed the offer but have not heard from him/her since.

If anyone feels up to the task or for an other language feel free to contact us.

That conflict is noted in the README. But thank you SO much for offering to actually DO something about the conflict, rather than just demanding that I move it or make a patch :-P

I can only tell for Mareen & Nadina armors. The others are 3rd party or plain vanilla with different texture.
I use UNP as base model but the textures paths the body uses are pointing to vanilla texture paths and file names.
So the body inherits any texture re-placer one might have.

Yeah, I saw the generalized note in the README. I was just offering a specific mod that I see a possible conflict with in that region. As for demanding you patch it, I simply don't see a reason to demand any author to tailor their mods to my game. It's ridiculous to ask of people. I report conflicts in case an author wants to make patches, but I never demand them. I usually just patch it myself. The problem is, I have a custom mega patch for my game that I create to resolve conflicts personally in order to keep my .esp count down, so my patch would be of little use to others, meaning I would have to make separate patches to publish. This patch consists of both my personal edits and merges from other patches that are released, so would likely crash anyone else's game since I doubt anyone is running the exact same set-up that I am.

However, if an author asks me to, I don't mind sharing patches that I make. As I said, I think I may have scouted a decent spot for the tavern as it stands, so I'll see how it works and let you know. Thank you for the reply, and for these wonderful characters that very much liven my game up. I can't imagine a play-through without them.

On a side note, about my earlier question with the body types used for the armors and clothes, I think I may have managed my own solution in the form of editing the UV maps in NifScope to align with the navel, so might not need to make a CBBE conversion after all. Though I did make conversions for Elyndra's armor just so it has a similar shape to my modded Elven sets, and did the same for Zorya's dress. I'll keep playing with them and see what sort of results I get.

It does seem like there may be a slight problem with the separated armor sets such as Nadina's because the upper thigh/pelvic areas don't seem to want to play nice with CBBE textures either. But then, it may not matter with the skirt covering that area. Either way, I can likely manage to convert and line things up with a bit of tinkering. Like I said, no need to ask an author for fixes when I can do it myself. I may not publish much online, but I'm fairly adept with NifTools and the CK, so I can often just manage to make my own edits to level my game out, and it's been stable for well over 150 hours each with two different characters, so I must be doing something right. ^_^

Edit: Thanks shrikebot. I actually already figured out which body their armors used by tinkering. Gonna get some UNP textures to point them to specifically so things line up better, then if I want I can convert them to CBBE shapes in Outfit Studio. Unfortunately simply editing the meshes in the studio doesn't seem to align the textures, so I suppose I need textures that truly align to the UV first.

Sometimes certain hot files don't show for people with certain filters on, so it replaces them with other files, hence why some folks don't see the same sets of hot files. Either way, this totally deserves to hit it, so if it has on some level, I'm very glad to hear it.

I am going to try out this mod, but I'm not sure on how well it will work. My computer is terrible (2gb RAM/256MB VRAM), and although Inigo is working well, I never know what will cause performance issues and what won't.

That said: This is the one mod I've been waiting for! The main thing I think Skyrim is missing is interesting companions, as in Dragon Age: Origins. It's like they have no personality. I also LOVE the fact that it doesn't require body mods. I'm a woman, so I don't like to sexualize every single female character in the game, especially traditional fighter or sneaking types (who would either be covered in protective armor or trying to avoid being noticed). It frustrates me when I find a follower mod that looks interesting only to find out that I have to also have UNP or CBBE or something.

I read your instructions everywhere, and I think it should be very easy to avoid AFT (I use it for vanilla followers, some of which I do still like, such as Kharjo and Eola). The outfit manager and carry bag are separate lines in the dialogue menu, so I would just scroll past the AFT Tweak dialogue entry and go to those, right? And I shouldn't have to use the "Summon" power, due the the automatic teleporting. I usually tell followers to "Wait" if I'm going into an area that I think should be private (when I break into houses or go to the Thieves' Guild or Dark Brotherhood sanctuary), so I don't need to disable the automatic teleporting. They will still wait if I tell them to, right? I'm going to try it out, so don't worry about giving a quick answer. I'll update this post with the answers I find once I've installed the mod. I hope I won't need to uninstall it over my stupid old computer. It might be awhile before I actually find the followers, though, so if you do answer before I do, of course that's fine, too. I am a big role-player, so I'm not going to immediately start looking for them as soon as it is installed.

Thank you for making this mod. Even if I end up not being able to use it, it's a great idea and would make Skyrim hands down my favorite game.

Edit: Oh, on the issue of Hot Files: yep - that's how I found it!
