burdfishdemon
Hello all, I just got my first PC a few months ago. It's a 1000 dollar setup with 4GB of RAM and a GTX 770. Also has an intel i5-4590. Anyways, I have a lot of graphics mods and my skyrim.ini is set for "high" settings. Everything looks pretty damn good except my trees in the distance (they look like Christmas trees until i get closer). Anyways, I don't want my new PC to get worn down or something. Is this a possibility? If so, what are some easy fixes to reduce strain on the system? P.S.: I'm not having problems with frame rate or anything just FYI. Thanks in advance! PukinDumpling
Do your components get extremely hot? Best way to find out if they are is using a third party app like MSI Afterburner or SpeedFan.As long as your rig stays cool there is really nothing to worry about. And even if it was to get really hot it would probably shutdown before harm could be done to your hardware. ;)
Valkasha
Every piece of equipment will wear out eventually, but your components were made for heavy graphical gaming so unless you overclock your gear past factory overclock they won't really be affected by simply running heavy games.
