Alright Im not computer savvy... but recently I've been getting this message in the left corner of my screen in skyrim... it says

OnUpdate latency Avg [numbers] Min [numbers] Max [numbers]... in the barracks there are numbers and they are pretty large numbers (10,000+ )

I uninstalled the mods I thought would be causing it but still the same, I even uninstalled the mods the day before it started this, this is the first time this has happened with me, was wondering if anyone else encounter this before and what they did to fix it.

This is the general site feedback suggestions and questions forum. For Skyrim specific problems you should post in a Skyrim subforum not here. As for your problem, AVG is an anti virus program - not a mod and I've never seen it do that to my games. Might want to check and make sure it's updating properly.

@Duckie1986: You should probably post this in the Skyrim Technical Support forum at http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/forum/414-skyrim-technical-support.

I recommend something like this for the topic title:

What mod causes "OnUpdate latency" message?

The message you mention reminds me of the script-latency test feature included with Convenient Horses (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/14950). But I can't remember if that latency test gives feedback in the format you described.

So maybe you have enabled a latency test in CH or another mod.

Please give the Skyrim-specific forum a try. Maybe someone there will have more info.

Good luck!

@Oubliette: In this case, I'm pretty sure that "Avg" stands for "average", rather than the AVG antivirus program.

The message seems to indicate latency/response speed for OnUpdate as an average speed, a minimum speed, and a maximum speed.

Hello - I found your post as a result of getting the message myself.

After a lot of mucking about, I determined that the solution is to not try to combine mods that reference the mod RaceMenu.

I believe it is because two mods trying to access that functionality are fighting over jslot resources, and causing those notifications.

Others more experienced may say I'm smoking crack.

Anyhow, In my case I was trying to use Familiar Faces (A mod I adore!) with the TrueBy9 mod for my 3440 x 1440 resolution. It also references the RaceMenu mod, and though I tried to disable it in one, I could still not get the mods to work together without causing that messaging.

Hope this solves your issue.
