Dreaper23
Okay, so I've tried to install a mod called Double Swords: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50061/? On the description page, I'm told that I need Dual Sheath Redux: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34155/? So I go to the Dual Sheath Redux page, and start installing the required programs/data, so far so good.. Now, when I activate Double Swords, I am asked to overwrite a skeleton.nif file, which the author of Double Swords tell me to say "yes" to.. After clicking "yes" and starting the game, I get this message:http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n416/kvolbaek/2014-09-29_00001_zps0b081d5f.jpg Can someone tell me what I do wrong? If I go out to Nexus Mod Manager and de-activate Dual Swords, I don't get this message
TheVampireDante
You need to run the .jar file that can with Dual Sheath again. Look for a SkyProc folder in your data folder and keep going down until you see the .jar - run that and follow the instructions. If you change/add/remove weapon mods you have to run the patcher again to have it work correctly, since the Dual Sheath esp retains links to the mods you have installed. Dreaper23
Ok, in the Data folder I found the skyproc folder.. In that folder, there is a .jar called Dual Sheath Redux Patch.. I am not sure what to do with that.. Do I open it in Nexus Mod Manager or Unzip it to somewhere?
TheVampireDante
Just doubleclick it... it'll run itself until it needs your input.
Dreaper23
Double clicking it, just brings up this:http://i338.photobucket.com/albums/n416/kvolbaek/2a0f5b47-a216-4de1-8e7a-066fee2d9e79_zpsb55f55b2.png To me it seems like a normal .jar file, so I don't see how it can run itself? I am not asked to do anything from here Edited September 30, 2014 by Daemons Bane
reindeer51
You need Java Environment 7 to open ithttp://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/java-se-jre-7-download-432155.html run the patcher, then activate the patch at bottom of your load order. Dreaper23
Ok I'm srry for keeping up the stupid questions, but I'm really new at this.. After getting runtime, the patcher opened as you said it would.. I clicked the "patch" button and let it finish.. Same message when I enter the game.. I then deleted and re-downloaded dual sheath, no effect.. Uninstalled double swords, dual sheath and then re-installed dual.. Still the same
simsim899
Have you enabled the dual sheath redux patch esp? There should be two esp's, the main one and the patch one. The patch one should be placed at the end of your load order, and after the bashed patch if you have one.
