Just downloaded and installed this. It works exactly as advertised and makes a great addition to crafting your own unique look for armors.
Thank you; great concept, aptly enabled, easy to use and very much appreciated.
The only criticism - and it is not a serious one - is that the default option are limited to red, blue, green, purple and yellow. Black would have been a nice addition here.
I tried to use your "custom tint" option to create a black tint to use - and maybe because I took the sort bus to school - did not do so well with it as with this one. I am sure it is me and not your mod at fault.
Thus, if you could add basic black as a default option I would give this a personal 10/10. Even so, it does what it promises to do simply and easily and I will endorse once the time limit is up.
Thanks again

Can this mod color custom (non vanilla) equipment?
EDIT: finished reading the wall of text. My question should be disregarded.

This doesn't work on items you buy from the vendor at Warden's Keep! (the one who makes you Starfang). It just doesn't change them. Can you please fix this?

@JackRuby: I'll take a look at those items. Probably BioWare just created them without tint maps. I plan to release an optional file "soon" that adds tint maps to some of the unique armors that don't seem to have any.
@fanbongo1: As a specific example, I plan to update my Warden Shields and Leliana Item Set mods to use regular materials and tint maps so they could be dyed with this mod. I hope that eventually other item modders will consider doing this as well.
@Geopi/Killer B: The settings for the black in the default custom 1 tint are: diffuse - R: 10, G: 10, B: 10, opacity: 2.0, specular - R: 51, G: 51, B: 51, opacity: 2.0, intensity: 1.0. With dark colors on shiny metals, the specular often has much more control over the final look. I also plan to update the online tool at some point so that you can save/link to saved tints, so people can easily share tints they've created and so that I can provide settings for all the default tints as a starting point. The biggest limitation on adding default colors is really just the dialog menu system, but I think I have room in there for a few more if I reword some things so I'll consider adding black & white to the default colors.

Hey, this was a good idea. I'll download it later and endorse it if everything works right.

Well I really can't give this an endorsement until the dye system works for custom armors. TnT, Rashanta's, re-skins - none of them work right now. = Keeps saying that the "material item can not be recognized", which I guess makes sense since they aren't vanilla armor.
Does the armor have to be a certain type of material? Like dragonbone or silverite? Most of my characters are rogues and mages, so I have a lot of gear that is just clothing.
Weird thing though, I was trying this out on one of the sexy mage robes re-skins, for the apprentice and mage robes, and of course they don't work. But I take the item over to the winter forge and you can change the color there through THAT system. I don't know how the winter forge and your dye kit differ, but I'm guessing the dyes are only effective on gear that have a variation of colors in the game. This require an extra texture map to make the armor change colors. I thought that was all connected to the armor material...but maybe I'm wrong?
