Valkasha
There already exists a skyrim online mod, long story short: Skyrims engine is not suitable for multiplayer, it laggs like crazy even with graphics on ultra-low.
Aleskiez
Well I have to prove you wrong here. Skyrim Online is thought to be an MMO type mod, and a friend and I think we can pull off a few things that might just get the engines going for this. Mattiewagg
I might recommend giving it a day or two at least before bumping.
DrNewcenstein
Well I have to prove you wrong here. Skyrim Online is thought to be an MMO type mod, and a friend and I think we can pull off a few things that might just get the engines going for this. "Online/Larger Server (2-20(or 40)"20+ people classifies as MMO. Anything over the traditional realistic in-home LAN party does. As an aside, I would hate to see the electric bill after 10 people with 1000w power supply PCs and their individual monitors pile into one house for the weekend. Not to mention the cel phone chargers, running the microwave and raiding the fridge every 5 minutes, cranking up the AC to cope with the excess heat from those PCs and monitors, the water bill from the excessive toilet use, and the smell. Try TESOnline. That's why it was made.
Aleskiez
@DrNewcenstein.True, that's why I thought about making it only a few more players higher then the 2-4 player count. The reason why i am making this mod is the opposite of what you want me to get. TESO is too much of aMMO. It removes the immersion with all of its constant farming and loot already been taken, etc. It's funner when it's more of an RPG and CO-OP type game. No one can ruin the exploration(unless it's your friends/family)
SnippyChris
Your heart is in the right place, and I played TESO and was extremely dissapointed. I hope you are able to get this project going, as I am subscribing to this thread to watch it grow. Good luck Aleskiez!
