MMM Hunting & Crafting problem

I'm having trouble with Martigen's Monster Mod Hunting and Crafting plugin. I can grind the gemstones with the gems and gem dust plugin, and I can craft arrows and armor with the crafting plugin, but I read something about crushing other bones to get bonemeal. How do I do that? Shouldn't it just work the same way I crush the gems (clicking on them)? Yes, I am using FCOM, so I'm aware there may be weird things going on, but any fix to this would be great. Load order was done with BOSS, so I'm assuming it's correct.

I could only find one other topic with somebody who had this problem. Unfortunately, the answerer posted "This has already been asked. Use the search function" or something, and provided link to an old, no-longer-existing page.

mechanically

you crush bones by having a mortar and pestle in your inventory and clicking on the bones

or by dropping the bones into a bone grinder in the mages' guild (looks like an ayleid container)

I do have a mortar and pestle, and I am able to crush gemstones and silver nuggets that I melted down. But clicking on the bones just doesn't do anything when I try.

Could you please repost the list through Wrye Bash? I want to see the version numbers. Also, you can replace the OOO Respawn Week problem with one of the Bashed Patch tweaks. I think it is under Tweak Assorted.

3.7b3 is the latest of MMM, right?

Yes, however, the MMM 3.7b3 update requires a clean install of MMM, and you have to upgrade to the latest version of FCOM and OOO as well.

Also, replace the OOO-Respawn plugin with the corresponding Bashed Patch tweak.

Edit: If your CPU starts dying, drop Additional NPC Vars. Remember to drop Exnem's Runeskulls for MMM's Diverse Runeskulls OOO Loot add-on when you upgrade.

Ok, so when I followed the instructions on FCOM's site (devnull.sweetdanger.net/convergence):

# Download MMM 3.5.5 OMOD or FULL package extract the 'Meshes,' Sound,' and 'Textures' folders into your "Data" folder. Do NOT use any of the ESMs/ESPs from this version!
# Download MMM 3.7 BETA and extract the 'Meshes,' Sound,' and 'Textures' folders into your "Data" folder (overwrite, if necessary) together with Mart's Monster Mod.esm

Of course, the new beta does not use separate files, but a .bsa. So, it wasn't until after I noticed green corpses caused by the missing blood textures that I realized I needed the new .bsa. I didn't remove the old MMM files because I thought the FCOM instructions still wanted me to use them. How do I make sure I have them all removed correctly so I've got a "clean install" of MMM?

On your other comments, I'm pretty sure I've got the latest OOO and FCOM. As far as I know, the latest OOO is 1.34 beta and the latest FCOM is 0.9.9 beta, no? It shows 1.33 for OOO but I did the update to 1.34 manually by just replacing the old files with newer versions. So, basically, I just installed FCOM a couple days ago and I thought I started with everything up to date already. What do I have that is out of date?

The official FCOM docs are outdated, which I why I wrote the guide I linked. It would walk you through that. All you have to do to uninstall MMM is deactivate the OMOD. The FCOM instructions for MMM 3.7 are to completely remove older versions of MMM. Do you have UFCOM too? Just follow the instructions with that guide, and please do not use manual installation as it will make cleaning up and upgrading much messier.
