MCM has a fix for their menu. Sometimes the menu becomes greyed out and unavailable to use. See their page for details.

I still have no main menu at all. I checked the directories and the "menu" folder is there. I installed everything fresh (game included), in the right order, and even tried using the new HUD mod on the nexus.

OK, so lets recap this - even if you reinstall the game fresh, with no mods, you do not have a main menu. Right?

Precisely. The menu root folder is also now back in action with all the proper .hml files and such. I have no clue what could be causing the issue.

Even after deleting all references to FNV? Registry entries, files, folders, all that? And, I hate to say this, but did you try a fresh install of the entire system?

Yes, delete all info on your hard drives and reinstall windows and all that..

Vanilla Fallout New Vegas does not have a Menus folder in the Data folder.
