Well the highly anticipated DLC is out now (in most places) and since out last experience with DLC left a bad taste in our mouths (the DLC that must not be mentioned) I would like to know about your opinions if you have played it or would you buy it. (Personally it is good in my view, probably one of the best DLC for DA in a while).

I didn't buy DSC and I'm not buying this one, not even for $7 in fact I wouldn't download either if they were free. I want to be me, not who EA/BW want me to be and this is your story get on with it, plus I can't stand Leliana and if they keep churning these out for every party character I won't buy those either.

Not really interested. Ell said it pretty well, that I wanna play my own character. I also pass on the player made DLC's which put you into some other character.
Besides, if it requires awakening or patch 1.03 it's a pass. NO desire to go back to patch 1.03 and take all the time to install/uninstall/reinstall just for a dlc.

I just finished it, and it was worth it to see Leliana's backstory. Much more intriguing than she tells you in Origins. And after this, I will NEVER let Marjolaine live. Calling her a backstabber in this case was literal. And I like that the dialogue was more like ME where you pick an option and Leliana speaks the line. Hopefully this will transfer to DA2. I have more I want to say, but I would be spouting more spoilers than I already have. Let me just say that I liked Leliana before, but I REALLY like her now. Was disappointed though that my morphs did not transfer over. Have to look into that.

Great afternoon's fun! Had a ball and wanted more, plus fitted very well into what happens in Origins. Doesn't hurt that Leliana is my favorite VO, (with Morri/Claudia Black a close second!) As a DLC it's at least a 4-out-of-5. What would have made it a 5 (for me) would have been more emphasis specifically on Bard/Rogue skills.

And after my first full playthrough, there's still an acheivement I didn't manage to snag. So there's even replay value!

I just finished it, and it was worth it to see Leliana's backstory. Much more intriguing than she tells you in Origins. And after this, I will NEVER let Marjolaine live. Calling her a backstabber in this case was literal. And I like that the dialogue was more like ME where you pick an option and Leliana speaks the line. Hopefully this will transfer to DA2. I have more I want to say, but I would be spouting more spoilers than I already have. Let me just say that I liked Leliana before, but I REALLY like her now. Was disappointed though that my morphs did not transfer over. Have to look into that.

I too wish the dialogue in the main game was like this little 4 hr romp. Marjolaine is and has always been a "C-word" IMO I kill her for that every time. I found myself distrusting Leliana more than I did before due to a lie of omission still being a lie.

The Beguiler worked, as did Adonnay's Weapon Replacer; there's no character creation so I can't tell if any of the hair, skin and eye mods work and I didn't bother to uncheck DLC mods before starting so I have no idea what works and what doesn't there but since it was a first runthrough it's best that I didn't.

I do need to find a way to get Sketch into my character set-up screen, I think he would make a fine Orleasian WC for Awakenings.

got a guy asking about it.
Most likely you're gonna have to direct the toolset to look in whatever folder in the documents/bioware/dragon age/addins folder that the new DLC is in. usually prm or promo something something.

Will do. It's in the MyDocuments/Bioware/DragonAge/AddIns/ Pre_lel folder, data like the one for Awakenings. However, I am trying to nail down what version for the erf file. The toolset popped up five versions, and so far 2.5 is not it.
