Skyrim crashed before it even starts up.

I am getting very mad, and now I'm forced to use my last resort, which is the nexus forums, which I've never used before.

I keep crashing when I start up Skyrim, even before it loads the main menu. Yesterday it was perfectly fine, and now its making me want to punch my screen.

I assumed it was because of some got I got today(I went on a mod downloading spree kind of, without starting my game up for while) so I deactivated them all, but that didn't work so I was forced to delete all of them via NMM. but not even that works, I even deleted a few of my older mods to see if one of them was some kind of conflict, but I still crash.

I honestly have no idea how to fix it and I've spent the last 1-2 hours trying to get skyrim to work, I even restarted my computer.

list of mods downloaded today: (I've deleted all of these now, but the problem is continuing)

Since you have nothing to loose, delete all of your mods and verify the game through Steam. Then when you get it running again, add your mods one at a time and check in the game to insure they run properly.

That what I was considering doing....but skyrim took forever to download for me, and Dual Sheath Redux was a pain.....

I will try that....but after I get a few more replies, as I really don't want to restart my entire skyrim game from scratch unless I absolutely need to.

"Crashing before the first menu" usually means that at least one mod isn't finding another mod it requires to run.

The best (or at least fastest) way to solve this issue is by doing this:

1) Download Loot: http://loot.github.io/ (This program will attempt to optimize your load order. It isn't 100% fail proof... but it has never failed me)

Run it, see what it has to say. Then try running your game again.

If you want to further investigate what's happening.

2) Download TES5Edit. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25859/?

Run it.

It will say exactly what mod is causing the crash.

As CookieDynamics said, if it's crashing before reaching the main menu it means one or more mods that you have enabled are missing a master. This could just be that you don't have proper load order, and again as Cookie recommended, you should get LOOT to help with load order. Otherwise, make sure you read each mod's page thoroughly for information pertinent to proper installation and compatibility. You might be trying to use things that don't work well together or some such. Best of luck getting your game to work.
