Im on a thieves guild quest for the guy in Vivec. He tells me to find one of his thieves and if that thief is dead to retrieve his key. I checked in the bar where he told me to but the only event that happened was i talked to someone who had never talked to that thief before. Any info on what to do? thanks

IIRC I think someone in the bar should know where he is and you get a journal flag that tells you he's in a cave somewhere in the area. It's been awhile since I've done it though, too bad UESP is still down otherwise this would be sinch.

Don't remember precisely if that's the same quest, but there is one in a bar in Vivec where you have to bribe someone before they tell you what you want to know.

Check through the rent-os in the city and you should find his corpse.

I think it was St. Delyn's Canalworks south side.

he's in one of either the st.olm's or st.delyn's (think st.delyn's) south buildings (think it might be South-One, either that or South-Two)
