Script Lag Assistance

[Nudedragon]

I've been getting script lag and I'm wondering if there are any other mods than Wet and Cold, and Dual - Combat Realism that could be adding significant strain on the script system in my game.

Hopefully there's a big offender I can eliminate.

Basicaly anything that puts pressure on your cpu like enb, more enemies/npcs, more trees or other objects, more detailed meshes, quests and interactions, heavy lightning overhauls and custom effects, detailed animations, mods that update status or override something each interval. Do you have high latency all the time or lag spikes in certain situations? First thing that should go, if your machine can't keep up is iHud and DoF in enb settings. Get Convenient Horses and run latency test from mcm menu while deactivating some mods to see which one has most impact on your gameplay.

 

Also check Skyrim Stability Guide by FireFreak111. For quad core processors it's best to either run with 4 threads instead of 8 or to use ini tweaks for 8 threads posted in this guide.
