metaton
OK, maybe I seem a bit noobie, but I don`t get it, somebody can make this clear?I have the latest SKSE. Someone said SKSE won`t do anything itself with memory allocation because I need to enable this feature by implementing 2 lines into SKSE.ini [Memory]DefaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768ScrapHeapSizeMB=256which I did.Now I read here that SSME will help with memory allocation. But there is a Sheson mem patch as well.So now, at this time of skyrim modding, what I need to do if I would like my memory allocation work efficiently?I don`t want to mess it up, I don`t know which one is working with the others, or do I need them all?Someone can clear this up?It is getting confusing now, as there are too many options.I will need SKSE thats for sure, for mods. What I need to do after? How I can check it that it is working? What I need?
bojanni
SSME = Sheson's memory patch. It is now incorporated in the latest SKSE version. If you want to check if it is working you can use this: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50471/?
camaro_69_327
To see if the SKSE.ini is working you can also read the LOG located here....>>E:\Users\Dark\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\SKSE >>> skse_steam_loader.log near the bottom is this...if its working.=============================== config path = E:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\SKSE\skse.ini <<<that's the INI you createdoverriding memory pool sizes <<<the SSME patch is in effect...thanks SKSE teamdefault heap = 768MB (effective 512MB if not preloading animations) <<<Memory Block 1scrap heap = 256MB<<< Memory Block 2 ======================================SSME = Sheson's Skyrim Memory Editor = SKSE w/SKSE.INI <<<All the same thing.
