Add a "Support" subforum (or two) somewhere, maybe some Premium subforums

Something I've noticed ever since I first started using NexusMods is that the Site Feedback and Open Beta Feedback forums are inundated with support topics for NMM. I feel this detracts from the purpose of these subforums, which is to provide feedback on improvements, not get support.

A separate Support subforum where all those posts could be moved to would greatly clean up these subforums.

I know there's the "Bug Reports" section of the forum, but (a) if that's where support should go it's not being used by forum members, or enforced by moderators and (b) the Bug Report section should really just be for bugs, using it for support as well just makes it more difficult to see the actual bugs.

Ideally (in my opinion) there would be additional "Nexus Mod Manager Support" and "NexusMods.com Support" subforums.

Furthermore, having a few Premium Only subforums might be helpful. Perhaps "Premium Member Feedback" and "Premium Member Support" subforums. I've made several support topics and feedback topics that just get lost in the flood of posts, as a lifetime subscriber it would be nice to have a place to post where a moderator or admin has a higher chance of seeing it.

I think people will fill any new forums with the same thing, maybe the site could do with a couple of forum moderators whose only job is to keep the forum tidy and put stuff where it should be? the regular staff have enough to deal with on the sites with all the shenanigans that go on.

Well, at least for that part I can triple assure you 'no' topic in the feedback sections ever goes unnoticed by staff. The IP.Board forum is designed in a way so each topic will keep flashing a red light until I read it, and in important sections, or sections I'm personally interested in providing support for, I will 'always' go back until the very end of the red light flashes.

It may 'seem' to you like staff isn't seeing your topics, but that's rather because just being staff still doesn't mean having all answers people seek out for. We have access to different features regular members don't have, and we can talk to each other about stuff from behind the scenes, but that's almost all there is about it already. We cannot give immediate feedback to site features in development, we don't inherently know what the site or NMM devs are currently working on or not, and in only very, very rare cases we can give some information about plans in regards to future development.

There's only very few people able to give you all the answers you're searching for, and regular staff isn't necessarily a part of it. But if you're in serious need of support, you can file a support ticket via the Contact Us link found at the bottom of the page. This is guaranteed to get you into contact with just the right people for the issue you have, and you won't have to wait for the right member of staff to accidentally stumble upon your topic first either.

I move every NMM-related topic I see in the general nexus "Feedback, suggestions and questions" forum to the "Open Beta Feedback" forum as soon as I see it. I'm sure I don't catch them all, (I'm basically going on the subject line) but as Drake indicated, the Staff here do see all the posts.

Most of the time we move them, but sometimes, we just answer.

(I see three such topics moved on the first page alone.)
