After the werewolf attack on Fort Moonfrost, I went to Skaal and am now on a quest to restore nature basically, as hippi-enviormentally geekish as it sounds <_<  I've already accomplished the water mission and am now trying to complete the sun mission.

I killed all the draug or whatever (the undead Nord men suffice to say) in the cave of Pernumbra and am left with just the big, lighthouse keeper ghuarl monster, but the damn thing is tough as F*$@! :(

I unleashed a fury of Antiochs: Golden, Frost, and Flame at it and the beast takes each down like a one-armed, red-headed stepchild. All they seem good for is delaying the critter by four seconds a piece if I'm lucky! Although not the fastest, it moves too quick to use all my magic/scrolls against it and even with a BIG load of fortify health and restore health, it's simply ferocious in one-to-one combat.

My only remaining option might be to try one of the paralysis axes I got from an earlier Moonfrost mission, but I can't guage it's effectiveness against a monster like this! Any recommendations from anyone? (HAS anyone even TRIED to take on this bad-ass-f*$%&er for that matter?!?   :o )

Huh that guy is dead easy you havent seen hard until you have to take down 8 of these guys for another mission i will not mention. Shoot him from a ranged distance with a bow that does work, get a weapon that has absorb health and bash him silly, use a high chamleon % so he cant see you, obviously these ideas take a lot of heavy high gear but for low people i would suggest.

Try using a light absorb health spell if you can that lasts a along duration than you can just run around while he dies slowly. If you have approximatly 100 health regeneration a second you can totally void his damage this can be done by a insanely costly spell or jiffing up a healing potion by yourself on high alchemy or any alchemy with high intelligence.

Ah lets see i wouldnt recommend frost on any monsters in bloodmoon really since most are slightly immune to it or absorb it (least i think) Well i cant really think of any other ideas hope some of these help. At the VERY worst cheat but i dont recommend it.
