nice to meet you too, hope you get some good mods. Just remember the 3 biggest rules in reverse order: 3 backup your save before you install a mod, 2 read the readme before installing or asking questions, 1 have fun. You should check out the Oblivion mods too those mods are good as well and a better way to start learning basic modding practices. Skyrim mods are tougher to add and remove than Oblivion mods due to the diffrent scripting systems so that is why I recommend starting out with Oblivion. Good luck!

Welcome to the Nexus Mods community. The Skyrim Modding community is ripe with explosively fun mods, I have compiled a list on my google website of some of my absolute top picks if you are interested. But there is also the top picks on the Nexus which you can take a gander at, or even the Skyrim Gems website which lists some of the most popular. I am used to using the tools for Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim, and while I may not have all the answers, I would probably say that if you were to start doing anything: it would be looking at tutorials for each tool instead of jumping straight in. ZZZ02 is correct about those three steps, and I am sure your experience with the Nexus Mods community will be a positive one.
