Any mods that add mission type variety?

I own xcom EU and EW. I am just lurking at missions before the [finale] mission (SPOILER: the one you get after using a psi soldier in the psi chamber) because I like to play them for fun. I remember the last time I completed the game, the game totally ends and you can't play it anymore and have to restart. I am wondering if there are mods out here that add on to the variety of missions available, and perhaps add new maps too? Will greatly appreciate recommendations :)

There really aren't any mods that add new missions or maps. The closest thing to what you're looking for is probably wghost81's mods. They focus on taking existing maps and expanding them, adding things like more options for starting locations, randomized alien spawns, random meld placement, and expanding old maps to additional types of fighting. I suggest something like XCOM Randomized. It changes the game more than you'd think.

Having beat EU about 5 times on console (on anything but impossible), I've been having so much fun with long war! It's like a completely new game! I particularly LOVE the interceptor overhaul.
