Hair Texture Problem

Hello, guys. I hope this is the right place to ask.

 

I recently downloaded the AVA follower mod by hangakin, but there is a known hair texture problem. I have a theory that the problem sources from the Kijiko Hair mod by Kijiko and Goldiocks, but I have no idea how to exactly approach this. I'm not the only one who encountered it, as I've read through the pages of both AVA and Kojiko to confirm that other people have this problem.

I tried to look at the .dds hair textures, and "long.dds" and "scalp_n.dds" matches the distortions. I have a guess that this mod only works properly for High/Ultra setting users? What could be done for a low-res user? I really want to edit the textures myself, but I have never done so before and I am afraid of destroying my save game.

EDIT:
Updating my progress. I confirmed the "solution." The problem lies is that it is not compatible with "Low or Medium" Texture option settings. You must set Textures to "High" or "Ultra" to make it work right.

 

I guess I'll have to live with that. I hope that someone will be able to make a low or medium texture version for the others. I prefer to play in low/medium myself to prevent my laptop from overheating + faster gameplay.
