Spawning NPCs Pre-Dismembered in the GECK

Those are done by running a KillActor command with a DismemberLimb parameter when the cell is loaded.

 

The script is typically (in vanilla at least) added to a primitive cubic activator or 'trigger', which you create by pressing this button on the toolbar: http://geck.bethsoft.com/images/5/5f/Jbrowne_IconCreateCubicActivator.jpeg

 

If you haven't created these before, you might want to read this little tutorial on creating primitives.

 

In the screenshot below I've added a trigger (red box). This will bring up a window (green box) where you can choose what activator base form you want to use with the trigger. The blue box lists the pre-made activators in vanilla.

 

After you're done, you must double click on the trigger, navigate to the linked ref tab and set the corpse as the trigger's linked ref.
