SORRY for double posting but I've run into a bit of a jam myself, Is there anyone who is very familiar with the quirks of Texmod here? I can't seem to get texmod to run xcom.exe for the life of me.
REFERENCE:
Followed it to the letter but still getting the d'oh screen. I think I might know what the problem is, in mine I get windows uac prompts upon running the texmod.exe and also when I select the main game .exe using the folder and hitting run. I already set both of them to always run as admin but even without texmod (running only Xcom.exe) I still get stupid UAC which thinks I'm not running in admin mode. Then D'oh window appears. I can't figure out what's wrong. I'm also using Sweetfx which runs fine. Any suggestions?

Hey all, I've followed the installation steps to the letter, but I keep getting the "D'OH" error screen, and then my anti-virus starts yelling at me when trying to install this. Any help?

i cannot find the ew.exe - after re installing the new long war version my ew.exe vanished and i cannot use taxmod any more

any tipps ?

Standard path is ...\Steam\SteamApps\common\XCom-Enemy-Unknown\XEW\Binaries\Win32\XComEW.exe or XCOMLauncher.exe
