Mosquito3650 Posted October 31, 2014 Share Posted October 31, 2014 Hi guys, Just until yesterday, I was still enjoying Skyrim. But today, when I tried to launch the game, nothing happens. I've tried to launch through the skse loader, the "Skyrim Launcher" and the "TESV" but still, nothing shows up. I've checked the Task Manager, there was no skyrim related programs running. Tried to google this issue, but found nothing similar to this. Guys, for the sake of Talos, please help me~! - tried deleting skyrim prefs files, - probably not the mods, cuz i didn't install anything new Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
tiger8u2 Posted November 1, 2014 Share Posted November 1, 2014 I got the same issue. Been fighting it all week. Uninstalling the whole game then re-installing. Sometimes, I get it to work again, but then it just stops. The creation kit also hangs at the "Initializing FaceGen" part. Something I have noticed, and I'm not sure if this matters, but whenever I re-install the game, the new files have current dates on them. SO, I have to use a "setfileDate" program to ensure my load order is right when loading the CK because it still orders them the old way. Been trying the sound fix and still get the hang up.
