So I recently downloaded the Mystic Tuning Gloves HD mod, 'cause it looks really damn nice.

 

Unfortunately, I seem to be having some sort of texture error with it:

Does anyone familiar with meshes or textures know what's going on, and can tell me what properties I need to alter to fix this?  I and someone else has already notified the author about the issue, and I've uploaded this same image there to demonstrate, but in the meantime I'd like to figure out how to fix it myself.

they still look quite cool. And anyway, you only use them once in the whole game so it doesnt really matter

I usually enchant them afterwards and use them for the rest of the game.

have you tried turning it on and off again? maybe even try uninstalling the mod

Yeah, um... turning it off and on again isn't going to help if it's an inherent problem with the files.

This lack of response is something I usually associate with the official BethSoft forums, not Nexus.  This site full of modders, and not a single one knows how to help me?  Really?
