Creation Kit mods don't show up? (I don't know where to post this D:)

I'm actually new to the Nexus, and wanted to try out voice acting~ Now here's the sitch:

For a school project, I have to make a mod OR voice act in a mod for Skyrim... My Skryim doesn't recognize the .esp file I made using Creation Kit, and (as you may have guessed), I'm VERY new to it anyway. I'm not sure what to do, because even the most basic NPCs don't show up. Even just an Imperial female with the default texture. I placed her in The Winking Skeever in Solitude, but she doesn't show up.. Any modders willing to help? Or even better: CREATE the mod for me, I'll send the dialogue, face mesh, and voice over, and BOOM~ there we go. I really don't know what I'm doing wrong, so it's gonna probably take a while to figure out what the issue is... even searching for her in the console doesn't help~

Sometimes, in order to activate the mod after finalizing the creation, you have to use the Skyrim Launcher and then the Launcher shows several options (like Play, Options, Data Files, Tech Support, and Exit). Select "Date Files", and then ensure that the mod you want activate has a check-mark on the box to the left of the mod name. If it does, it should now work in-game. If it doesn't, then click on the box to activate the mod.

make a zip file, and put it in Mod Organizer, it will tell you whats going up on with it, or if nothing is.

As for the creation kit -- never tried it, but seen youtube videos of people using it. I saw a video on how to simply change a weapons base damage via your own small plugin.

I know this is not much help, but if I put a mod into Mod organizer and it does nothing it will say so, show up as grey, or say you need to fix your folder structure.
