This just started today. GAme worked fine like a champ even with all the mods. I wanted to try Wyrebash out and see if it could help random ctds. Downloaded, watched some tutorials made a bashed patch. Game crashed not right after the beth logo, but right before the options to load game etc would normally pop up. Normally if something is wrong the crash is instant, this one was delayed by a few seconds it was really weird.

 

 

Checked tes53dit it ran through the first two times, said finished there were no error messages. Still the CTD though, on teh third run through An error popped up referring to a vamprie lord re-texture for females. Deleted the broken mod rebuilt patch, rand tes5 edit. No problem. No error, no warrnings.

 

Same problem delayed CTD after logo. So I assumed the only thing differant now was wyrebash. Uninstalled, removed all other files manually that the crap uninstaller didn't remove. No traces of Wyrebash.

 

Ran loot, Ran boss, Ran tes5 edit.

 

NO PROBLEMS!

 

Ran skyrim, delayed crass after logo.

 

Ran at wall full speed lowered head for maximum impact, cursed at laptop, cursed wyrebash ran skyrim crashed again. Started drawing on the walls...... Said f wyre bash a few times. IF it ain't broke don't fix it......

 

Well now its broke and i've lost my mind. What the hell did I do to my game.

And despite the s*** card, the game ran like a champ with a bunch of graphic overhaul mods med settings. Like I don't know how this little laptop did it, but it did. Like a boss. Okay So here we are, wtf do I do now. I've ran all the programs I've tried everything I feel like wyrebash f'ed everything up and no it's unplayable? Do I need Wyrebash again? Did it change something that can't be undone with a simple uninstall? Do I need to really uninstall everything again? If someone says my saved game is scraped, this has already happened once where I lost a saved game. Tell me that and I'll find you. There has to be a way to fix this.

Self Testing update:

 

Disabled All plugins via (not uninstalled)

Going to go through manually and test each one to see which one is causing the crash. I will post finding here as I go. In case anyone else reads this with the same problems.

The mod that was causing the crash was more salt please.....  Figured it out.... going to try wyrebash again. It obviously wans't he problem. Jesus christ. Days like this modding isn't worth it.

Okay Final update: Problem is resolved I manged it by myself

 

Problem: Loot, TES5Edit, and Boss do not always detect a problem. Sometimes you have to go through and do things the hard way.... 4 hours later.

 

Anyway The culprit was JUST More Salts please... What a mind blower. All the huge overhauls I have and the one thing SKSE trips over is a few extra salts for venders. Mind blowing.

 

At any rate problem solved, experimentation documented.

 

If you goggled this and had a similar problem: Disable all plugins VIA  NNM and manually go through each plug through until you find one that crashes the game.
