rebelsaintxx012
When I take "Skyrim - Textures.bsa" off of the sResourceArchiveList line under <Archive> in the Skyrim.ini, the only textures that appear in game are the loose files, the rest are just the regular bright purple textureless surfaces. Then i put "Textures.bsa" back in the "sResourceArchiveList" then all I get in game is the default textures, (No loose Files). I think the game is loading the Textures.bsa after the loose files. If someone can tell me how to load the loose files after the Textures.bsa, or anything that can fix this issue that would be great. Thanks! IsharaMeradin
What mod manager are you using? Some can affect how the BSA data is loaded.
cdcooley
There's an INI setting "bInvalidateOlderFiles=1" in the Archive section. If that line gets changed to 0 instead of 1 then BSAs can overwrite loose files like you're describing.
