But, I've heard that a few people cant actually mod skyrim on windows 8.1, and some who say they can't even run it! Is this true? Can you mod on windows 8.1? And whilst im at it, how is windows 8.1 in terms of gaming. Would be really useful if i got a straight answer, even better if they use windows 8.1 For reference, I just got windows 8.1, so I have a limited time to actually return it, get my money back and then buy windows 7 which is what I will do if I cant mod skyrim on it. thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I really don't get all the hate it receives.Sure it is missing a Start Menu, but that can be fixed, just search Google. Regarding Skyrim, I see zero difference from running in on Windows 7.
