Hello guys,
I'm sorry that my first forum post has to be a cry for help!

 

Here we go!

 

As described in the forum title, I've started getting random CTD's in my game. I figured it was because I started messing with load orders and mods and such so I moved it all back to how it was before.

 

Now, however, I'm still getting the random CTD's. Wasn't sure if I'd somehow corrupted my save so I tried one of my previous saves that I know worked perfectly and it's happening on those too!

 

My computer is an Intel Core i5 CPU 650 @ 3.2GHz, 8GB RAM and an AMD Radeon R9 200 Series GPU.

 

I'm running Skyrim off my second HD but Steam is on my SSD with the Library folder pointing to my 1TB drive.

 

To install Mods, I'm using Mod Organizer.

Ah! Didn't think of that. :sad:

 

Didn't notice that Steam had *fixed* my Update and DLC .esm's as well.

 

EDIT: Cleaned my .esm's and it's still happening.

Cleaning is always good thing to do unless mod author specially says not to clean. Also if you removed mods during your current playthrough, its not a bad idea to check your save with Save game script cleaner: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/? While it's still not recommended to remove and add mods constantly in same playthrough, this tool can still help with leftover scripts problems in saves.

Using SKSE memory patch on modded games is almost "must be" nowdays too.

Of course reason can be recently added mod, what doesn't want to play well with some other mod in your loadorder. Or is you game been unstable since you started it and just gone worse as you added more mods/removed mods?

Yeah I've cleaned all my mods and cleaned my saved game. Removed a couple of mods, Hunterborn and Expanded Towns and Cities and that seems to help but I'm still getting crashes.

^^^the spoiler above would work if you replace the \ with the / on the bottom line of a keyboard.( took me a min to figure out why it wasn't working..lol).
