Skyrim CTD when picking up objects from body's

Si been having this issue for a while where my skyrim will CTD when i pick up a object from a body. From what i can tell it is not just armor and weapons related, it happens when i pick up lockpicks, gold, potions and you name it. I am not a computer genius but i have papyrus logging on, but i have no idea how to read the logs or what they are trying to tell me.

The mods i use is the exact mods i use on my last play where i had no crash issues at all, the same hardware. My hardware is all check and i have found no fault with it. I have checked my SSD's for faults, my memory, my GFX card memory, all test have come back clean and in working order.

Here is my mod list, the last papyrus log and my ini files

papyrus log: http://pastebin.com/LWesWZCi

mod list: http://pastebin.com/Mh9hZja2

Skyrim.ini http://pastebin.com/iDj33TmE

SkyrimPrefs.ini http://pastebin.com/wPMafXKb

PC Hardware:

(the GFX Card has 4gb mem)

Things i have tried to do goes as followes:

Everytime i install or remove a mod i run LOOT and Tes5Edit to make sure nothing is in conflict. I have noticed that Tes5Edit and LOOT tells me there is dirty edits in some files and errors, but i have no idea how to fix them as i am not a modder my self. I have tried to google this issue with no luck at all, so now i am posting here about it

Anyone able to tell me what the issue can be? And maybe how i can fix it?

Some things that leap out at me and grab my attention.

You mentioned Remove Mod(s)

There really is no safe thing as Remove Mod(s)

An example, Your Papyrus Log indicates that the mod Bella Sanguienarie Vampires was installed. A script heavy mod that has never been fully fixed (it is possible to fix this and there are posts that cover how to fix, but it isn't something for a beginner)

Now I'm sure if I poked around a bit more I would find other missing mods in your log.

Point being you have orphan scripts stacking up in your script system.

How could this be related well in the case of BSV there are scripts that are attached to changing up inventories dynamically.

By removing this mod and not running a Save Cleaner (which still might not fix the problem) your game is pretty much going to crash. The reasons of how and when and what can all vary but the damage is done and its present in your save.

Your either going to have to write off this character or take your chances on a Save Cleaner. Remember I said "take your chances" there is no promise that it will work. It might not.

Welcome to modding its a learning experience if you have any other questions don't be afraid to ask. Also thankyou for providing clean information.

------------------------------------

Your mods list currently looks fine any other suggestions I could make on it are purely preference and my opinion...

I do not see any mods in that list that should cause an issue.

-----------------------------------

Ini files appear to be fine other than just one little thing you have Papyrus listed twice...wont cause an issue but I like things clean you know.

Hmmm, i have never used that mod on my PC so i find it very strange that is there at all.

Edit: sorry my internet crashed as i was posting and i by accident clicked post hehe.

As i was going to say but did not manage to finish it, i have never installed that mod, and it has never been installed on my system. All the mods you see in the list was installed on a fresh Skyrim install last week, and no save games was saved when i did. I have a backup of my saves, but after i removed skyrim from steam i deleted the saves folder. The character i am crashing on was started fresh after the reinstall of skyrim. This is why i find this so strange.

I also wanted to thank you for your answer and let you know that i do not mind hearing peoples opinions at all

Hmm I just look back through and realized it was a rookie mistake on my part.

I'm stumped,

I don't recognize ABT but that doesn't mean that its the cause.

For the most part I don't see a mod in there that should cause a crash when picking stuff up from a body.

Mostly that sort of issue would be from a script that is failing to change the loot list. But I dont seem to recall any of those mods in there adding a script like that.

Maybe your Arrow mod ABT other than that shoot.

If you cleaned your mods with TESvEdit.

Did you clean one at a time like this.

Load up TESvEdit

Load only Update.esm

Clean only Update.esm

Save

Exit

Load TESVedit

Load only Dawngaurd

Clean only Dawngaurd

Save

Exit

Load TesVedit

Load only Dragon Born

So on.

Ok, so i did run the tool to remove old unused scripts, i found 16. They are removed to now i need to just play and test how it works.

Thanks again for the replies gamefever, and don't worry about little mistakes like that. Thats how we learn hehe.

I have not cleaned any of the mods, partly because i have no idea how to do it, and because the game was running crash free for 3-4 months playing everyday almost with the same mods installed except for two new textures.

I have noticed something else too, it is not CTD related, but i'll drop it in here anyway. Now and then i find the odd NPC with armor textures missing, or a tree. Any idea why that is? It is not that big of a issue, just interested in knowing what might be the reason.

As for the ATB arrows, i can try to remove it if the game keep crashing. I don't want to remove it just yet because as i said, i find it very strange that before my reinstall the game was running smooth for months with quite a bit of playing, but now after i decided to clean up my install and mods its crashing :)

aMidianBorn Skyforge Weapons and Armor,

Your probably missing one of the other files, as I remember from having used it 3 months ago there was an update file that was not included in the main download. So its an easy one to miss. For example Aela Huntress will not have proper textured weapons and armor if you miss downloading and installing all the files for that pack.

As far as a missing tree texture...

Since I don't know what texture mods you have installed, you only provided an esp list

I have to say have another look at Vivid Landscapes...Not familiar with that one.

Also look at the unofficial patch for HD Textures unless of course you already have a replacer under the hood.

Get these

One Tweak

>higher priority rating for Skyrim.exe

>Solves Alt Tab Bug

>Stops DBL curser Bug

Better go ahead and load up SKSE memory fix.

Google that.

Its one of those things you have to write out yourself but it takes like 1 minute

Skyrim Configulator

If you have I-5 or I-7 processor its got a threaded option you can try out its a nice tweak

Those are what I use and man they make a difference.

There's

Stable Ugrids to Load.

I haven't used it yet but I hear its nice, I might try it out later...But the tweaks above might resolve this.

Still wondering how in the world you had orphan scripts.
