Hello Fellow modders! So I'm interested in making Ysolda look like Triss Merigold from the Witcher franchise, I already have her clothes which look damn funny on my character since he's a man with a body of a smoking hot woman when he wears them XD, but now I wanted to use the Triss model from the Ultimate WItcher Experience Mod from AlphaWolf, and use it to replace Ysolda's model, not just face, but body as well, the whole deal (in terms of appearance that is). I have successfully extracted all of Triss' files from the Witcher mod bsa, they're either .dds or .nif. However I have no idea what to do next, I tried using things like BSAopt, Creator Kit and NPC Editor but I can't seem to be able to find my way around the situation. Again I am NOT trying to introduce a new character to the game, like the Triss Companion Mod by Epoch29, I'm just replacing a character model. I'm attaching a mediafire link where you can download with with Triss' texture files if y'all want to have a look at them http://www.mediafire...4bin2/Triss.zip
Cheers! ![]()

Eduardo,
I can help you with the clothing replacement, as I've been updating a few of my NPC's this week, actually. (I really hate Lydia and Mjoll's default armor). This is also my first time dabbling in the CK, and it would be nice to know your level of experience as well. There are a lot of different ways to approach this. If you wanted to create an entirely new esp for this, you'd have to duplicate a lot of forms and make sure that they're all linked up correctly. However, to make it easy on you, I would suggest editing the Triss asset mod so that it also touches Ysolda. I'll try to break this down for anyone else who might be getting started.
1. Open the Triss mod and move the Triss texture, meshes and ESP file to the appropriate places in your Skyrim data folder. Knowing exactly where to put these files is usually found under the mod author's installation instructions, although it's usually very straight-forward.
2. Open up the Creation Kit, go to Data, and set the Triss esp to Active Plugin. Then fire it up.
3. After it is finished loading, you'll need to navigate to the Object window, then to Items, then to Outfit.
4. in the Editor ID, right-click and select New
5. A new window pops open. Give the new Outfit a name/id, but do NOT close this window. Move it to the side for the now.
6. Now then, in the Object window, navigate to Item, and then Armor. This will load up the Triss clothing that the mod author has already designed for us. From here, you'll need drag and drop the individual parts of her clothing into the previously opened Outfit window until you have a complete "Set".
Note that Priority codes set by the mod author come into play here, so if you try to move in two torso pieces, you will most likely have a conflict.
7. After you've approved of your outfit, you'll need to navigate to the "Actor" section in the Object window.
8. Type Ysolda into the filter block, and then open up the item that appears.
9. Along the top of this new editor, there is a tab called "Inventory". Open that and find "Default Outfit." From there you can select the Outfit you just got finished creating. I always give her this outfit in both Default and Sleep. As you can see for yourself in this screen, it is impossible to hand pick Ysolda's items on the fly. The only way to change her look is to assign her an outfit. That's why we just did all this stuff.
10. Preview "Full" to verify the changes carried over.
11. Save.
As long as this esp is active in your load order, you'll see the Triss assets in game, but you might not see the new changes to Ysolda if you add anything else that also affects her. As for giving Ysolda the same body mesh as Triss, you'd really be getting into the black magic of the creation kit. I'm to understand that for all intents and purposes this is something that can't be individualized. Skyrim only allows one template to encompass all human females. That template can be edited, but when you do this, it affects all female NPCs across the board. The most popular replacements for the vanilla female body are CBBE and UNP. Both are standard, but I think UNP has an edge because more custom armors have been designed especially for it. Unless I'm way off base, I'm pretty sure your Triss armor is designed to be used with one or the other.
Unless you're very obsessed with the details, installing UNP and then assigning Ysolda the triss outfit should achieve the desired effect.
Faces can be changed by tinkering with the 'Character Gen Parts' tab in Ysolda's actor profie, but is beyond my experience to assist. Take all of this with a grain of salt, but I hope it helps. Good luck, bud.

Hello amack1,
Thank you very much for your help, but unfortunately it was not the one I was really looking, I already have Triss' armor in the game as a new type of armor, so if I want Triss to wear ir I can reverse pick pocket it to her, or give it to her after marrying her. Also I don't have a Triss esp, all my dds and nif from Triss came from the Witcher Ultimate Experience bsa. Thanks anyway.
