Is there a way to make the "Natural Bodies" mod that makes people naked, actually naked, not work for certain scenes?


Particularly, King Cailan in Return to Ostagar? The poor SOB was betrayed, overwhelmed, and crushed like a bug on the battlefield by a giant monster--we really, really don't need to have his desecrated corpse sportin' a boner.

And when they try to honor their dead ruler by putting him on a funeral pyre, it's just not right to have his dead pecker stickin' up out of the flames.

If there's not a way for the override file to not work during that campaign, then since I have no need to see some dude's junk in other circumstances either, could I instead simply find all the "male" files and delete those without causing some catastrophe?

There is an option on the all bodies to make them appear... flacid. To be fair though I keep them set to a certain guys underwear mod unless I am alone and feeling pervy

Interrestingly, the only nude males in the game who are... inappropriately, shall we say, aroused, are humans. In addition to the classic scene mentioned above, there's the Torture Chamber and various prisoners in the Arl of Denerim's (Howe's) dungeons, plus the one you wake up next to in Fort Drakon if you surrender to Ser Cauthrien, and all the Weres after you break their curse (at least until 1.04. NOW they suddenly have clothing! )

So if you use the NB (or RL, or, or, or...) "Flacid" body model for Human (and Quanri, since there is NO reason for Sten to get excited. Ever.) Males, you avoid the problem cited, while still allowing Elves and Dwarfs to exhibit their... prowess. 'Course if you're playing as a HM, your interludes with BSC wll be somewhat less... impressive?

I'm only talking about the NPCs who become involuntarily undressed here. (Ok, there is ONE other scene when non-human males might appear in such a state:

I just think men walking around with a hard on is totally weird.
Shouldn't "Natural Bodies" be natural as in Adam and Eve natural? Why can't you have no underwear but keep it PG-13? I did Life Drawing so nakedness is no problem for me, but the only time you want to see a hard on is during sex.
Plus Ferelden is a cold place, and the natural bodies should be uncircumcised because Ferelden is based on Britain (where they do no circumcise) lol.

Just I would only download this nakie mod, if it was true nakie and not sexual nakie :/.

@Chiramu; You can totally achieve the effect you're looking for. There is a "flacid" body model for males of ALL races (even the Qunari.) But the OP's question was around being able to have the aroused state, but only when (in that player's opinion) it would be "appropriate". (We'll leave the definition of that word up to each individal! )

Thandal, there is a dwarf this way also in the DN origin. Didn't catch it but the fiance did. Next time you are in the Deep Roads and take the special dwarven armor, pay close attention to the body you take it from.

As to the original OP's question, there was a mod that was started on the BSN that has been abandoned. Don't know for sure the reasons why it was, but I know it has been attempted, but may have been abandoned due to inability to do it or lack of time to make it work. That's only a guess, however.

I guess that one solution would be to create an all new set of clothes, using the vanilla models (which included the loincloths) or similar set that floated your fancy. Then go into the toolset and locate each and every "inappropriate" character and then edit their equipment lists to have them wearing the clothing that has the loincloth. Or edit whichever cutscene.
The problem there tho, would be the DLC's. The large majority of those have locked files

But yeah, the clothing mod thing is beyond me.

Ahhhh. I've never played that Origin. (Dwarf Commoner, yes. But not Noble. Behlen's so oily, anything to do with him just makes me grit my teeth. So I minimize the amount of game time I have to spend around him!

o man.. i kno it might be inappropriate to reply to a request that has nothing to do with actually solving the problem but uh... i just had to say this... the situation where u describe the whole "return to ostagar" situation with the problem ur having made me laugh soo friggin hard u dun even kno... u this thread made my day LOL.... friggin funny as hell
