The same person has uploaded a few files to TESNexus, stolen from other authors claiming to be updates. They're all ~500 Kb, and all commenting features are off.

Someone ban this idiot fast.

It shows as having been removed. In the future, when you see one of these here's what you need to do.
On the first post, there's a small icon that is a ! inside a yellow diamond shaped icon that reads "report". It will be next to the SiteBot post describing the mod.
Click on that, then type out your findings, or the reason why you want the staff to look into it. Once you send the report, it makes all the staff aware of the issue and it can be looked into a lot faster than just posting a thread about it, or PMing a certain moderator about the issue.
;)

Who's the guy/girl? Because I wouldn't want to download one of his/her mods.

Well, it was a fake and the poster was banned so I don't think you have to worry about it.

To clarify, the poster of the FAKE update was banned. NewByPower's original NB, (and Altorian's All-in-One adaptation of it) are excellent mods, and 100% trojan-free!

Even something like AVG or McAfee is better than Windows security...

The thing was that it automatically send me to the windows security program page even though I had Nodeset Antivirus pro and somehow installed itself and then, after a few days, my computer wouldn't even turn on, total disaster!

Oh I love those viruses that hide as a fake virus scanner. Sure takes an hour or so to get rid of once it's seated deep into the registry. If ya ever get it hit me up on a pm or something and I'll give you a quick step by step to fixing it. The fix shouldn't be too difficult between different windows versions just requires a changed tactic for each.

And if you've got this said virus you'll know. Because it breaks majority of your shortcuts on the desktop except for whatever was open when ya get it.
