- Enhance Constitution can be correctly learned again.
- Corruption Burst fixed.
- Ravenous Incarnation now has a Stamina Regen penalty.
- Enhance Resistance abilities upgraded a bit.
- Images added. Look at them. Particularly the most recent four.
- Description updated and expanded.
- Known Issues Readme added. Read it.
- If the Class and Specialization Pack is installed, the Spirit Eater can learn its Warrior/Rogue Specializations.

I can't select spirit eater for Origins, and I can for awakening, but then it wont let me select Grew Warden background (also Dalish appears next to it, no matter what race, but also not selectable).
I) The Class is selectable, but produces an invisible character whose appearance cannot be edited.
S1) Make sure there is only one 'sys_chargen.ncs' file within your '<documents>\bioware\dragon age\modules\single player\override' directory.
Do you mean '<documents>\bioware\dragon age\packeges\core\override' ?
Cuz theres not even one 'sys_chargen.ncs' in the directory you listed. But I do have just one in the "documents/bioware/dragon age/packages/core/override" folder.
Again, not a huge problem, I just use the console command. Still a great mod, really like your take on new classes. Seems like a fun class to play.

Do you need to learn the talents that allow you to learn Warrior/Rogue talents before you see that those specializations are available in the level up screen? There are currently zero "learnable" specializations on my level-up screen. If the Class and Specialization Pack is installed, the Spirit Eater can learn its Warrior/Rogue Specializations.
Also, yadda yadda OC chargen doesn't work, yadda yadda SE class is greyed out. You're probably tired of hearing that by now, just figured I'd add my name to the list. I tried manually extracting the files as recommended in the Known Issues Readme, but still no go. Not really important, since I've got the console, but I always like my mods to work the way they were intended.
EDIT: Found a second sys_chargen.ncs in my override folder. Turns out they're both yours. One is the Spirit Eater default, the other is the CSPack ES/CT compatibility file from CSPack v1.80 I believe. I'll compare the latest compatibility fix sys_chargen.ncs' to see which one I should probably use. If you could tell me for sure, I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
EDIT2: Me again. Specs as follows:
CSPack v1.81c sys_chargen.ncs - 69,037 bytes, last modified 9/6/2010
Spirit Eater v1.11 sys_chargen.ncs - 59,395 bytes, last modified 9/8/2010
The sizes lead me to believe that I should use the CSPack's (not quite sure why, that's just what my first reaction was) but the date modified's lead me to believe I should use Spirit Eater's. That's about as far as I can tell on my own.

I already answered that the first time you said it.
@RetryAgain:
What people really don't seem to grasp is that it does not matter whether or not the class is selectable as a new character. There is a console command that renders this behavior completely irrelevant.
@fardriel:
Yes you need to learn the Talents, no they will never show up there.
You use the one that this Mod provides....
@AtomAction:
That's a typo, I did indeed mean the core\override.
The Dalish background issue is caused by having extra/unnecessary versions of the backgrounds.gda file lurking around. Read the below wall of text very carefully.
---------------------------
I'm just going to re-post this here. As the images show, if it is installed correctly, there are no issues. The problem is on your end.
NOTICE
There should be NO variations of the backgrounds.gda, background_defaults.gda, or chargen_preload.gda files within your <Documents>\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override directory.
There should be ONE sys_chargen.ncs file within your <Documents>\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override directory.
The following files should be in your <Documents>\BioWare\Dragon Age\modules\single player\override directory:
background_defaults_focus.gda (if CS Pack installed)
background_defaults_se.gda
backgrounds_focus.gda (if CS Pack installed)
backgrounds_se.gda
chargen_preload_focus.gda (if CS Pack installed)
chargen_preload_se.gda
The following files should be in your <Documents>\BioWare\Dragon Age\AddIns\gxa_res_to_core\core\override directory if Awakening in the OC is installed:
backgrounds_gxa.gda
chargen_preload_gxa.gda
The following files should be in your <Program Files>\Dragon Age\packages\core_ep1\override directory if Awakening is installed:
background_defaults_wfoc.gda (if CS Pack installed)
background_defaults_se.gda
backgrounds_wfoc.gda (if CS Pack installed)
backgrounds_se.gda
chargen_preload_wfoc.gda (if CS Pack installed)
chargen_preload_se.gda
If ALL of that is not true, then the Mod(s) did not install/uninstall correctly. None of those files should be anywhere else. If they are, that also means the Mod(s) is not installed correctly.
Finally, the only other thing that could cause selection issues is if you:
A) Have Awakening and Awakening in the OC activated at the same time (and if you do, please don't tell me because I will hate you).
B) Having both this and the CS Pack installed but not having them both activated.

ALL of that is true for me. Double checked and had a friend check twice too, just to make sure I'm not an idiot (it's been known to happen) I do not use Awakening in the OC (if that matters), the selection problem still persists...
I can not select spirit eater for Origins.
I can select spirit eater for Awakening, but then it wont let me select Grey Warden background (also Dalish appears next to it, no matter what race, but also not selectable).
-----------------------------
Again, I can just use the console command for the class, so this is really just me bug reporting, not complaining. I support your work fully and understand how frustrating it can be at times.

Do you have any other Mods that alter or add to the backgrounds installed or activated?
Leliana's Song, Darkspawn Chronicles, Golems of Amgarrak, Cleric Class, Tevinter Warden, any Mod that allows character creation or acts as a new campaign, etc.
If you have one of the official new module DLC mentioned above installed, it should not be activated while playing the OC or while Awakening is activated.
Places where it could be conflicting from:
<Documents>\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\data
<Documents>\BioWare\Dragon Age\packages\core\override
<Documents>\BioWare\Dragon Age\AddIns\<modname>\core\data
<Documents>\BioWare\Dragon Age\AddIns\<modname>\core\override
<Documents>\BioWare\Dragon Age\AddIns\<modname>\module\override
<Documents>\BioWare\Dragon Age\AddIns\<modname>\module\data
Those are the main places a Mod may have installed something to your DA installation (usually within a .erf file). Any of them could be causing the confliction.
Futhermore, these are other locations that next to no one uses but that could also be causing the confliction if some did:
<Documents>\BioWare\Dragon Age\modules\single player\data
<Documents>\BioWare\Dragon Age\modules\single player\override
<Program Files>\Dragon Age\modules\single player\data
<Program Files>\Dragon Age\modules\single player\override
<Program Files>\Dragon Age\packages\core\data
<Program Files>\Dragon Age\packages\core\override
<Program Files>\Dragon Age\packages\core_ep1\data
<Program Files>\Dragon Age\packages\core_ep1\override
<Program Files>\Dragon Age\addins\dao_prc_ep_1\core\data
<Program Files>\Dragon Age\addins\dao_prc_ep_1\core\override
<Program Files>\Dragon Age\addins\dao_prc_ep_1\module\data
<Program Files>\Dragon Age\addins\dao_prc_ep_1\module\override

I had Leliana's Song, Darkspawn Chronicles, Golems of Amgarrak all activated, so I am, indeed, an idiot. Ha.
Quick question.. how would I look inside an .erf file?
I tried with archivers like .7zip and winrar...
EDIT: even when those mods are deactivated, the same problem persists. Cant find the NO variation files in any area you mentioned, so how do I search in .erf files?
