Usually the DA Toolset.
Sometimes NWN/NWN2's .erf extractor programs work as well.

Looks interesting. Reminds me a lot of NWN2: MotB. Think I'll give this a go.

I downloaded and installed v1.12, but the only change that I noticed was Inc Dex before Inc Cunning. Warrior line still requires Con, Mage line still requires Will, and Inc Magic still requires 18 points in its stat. Don't know if that's an issue on my end or if you accidentally forgot to hit ctrl+s or something. Just thought I'd let you know.

Checked my files. Fine. Downloaded Nexus' file. Fine.
How did you upgrade? Did you uninstall the old version before installing the new version as the description suggests?
The only thing I can think of is that you have an abi_base_spiriteater_ct.gda (which has since been discontinued and removed from the archive) file installed.
It will either be wherever you installed your CT compatibility files, or within the <Documents>BioWare\Dragon Age\AddIns\950_spiriteater\core\override directory. Possibly both.

Yeah, that file existed in both places you mentioned. I always uninstall the old .dazip using DAModder and then delete the .dazip from its folder before adding the new version to the folder and installing it. I guess some files just got left behind. I've noticed that the DAModder has random problems like that for other people, guess I didn't dodge that bullet.
I don't have time to check if what you just recommended fixed it, but I came upon another issue, after getting the Mage class unlock. Telekinetic Weapons and Telekinetic Prison (or whatever it's called, the one to the right of TK Weapons) are blank in my talents screen. Now, off to an obligation.
Thanks for the help, yet again.

In the read me of the Compatibility files you have,
There is no advanced tactics file in the Compatibility File though, like there is for Combat tweaks, awakening and awakening in the OC.
Is it missing?
Is that part of the read-me unintentional?
Or do we have to install the actual mod to that folder?

Version 1.12b
- CT version's Telekinetic Weapons and Ghostly Prison should now show up
- Missing AT Compatibility File added
Note that only the two Compatibility Files were updated. No need to reinstall the entire Mod if you've already installed v1.12, and no need to download at all if you don't use those Files.
-------------------------------
Missing. It was there... I could've sworn it was there... but now it is gone.
I wonder where I put it.
Found it. Now added.

Your mod is fantastic. I'm enjoying it very much. However, I've run into a problem while playing the Origins campaign. Your mirror image during the Urn of Sacred Ashes quest doesn't spawn and it doesn't initiate the battle sequence, hence not allowing you to open the door and progress. Your party members' images spawn in the room as neutrals and don't seem to want to engage.

So I know as far as spellpower goes, it is determined by Magic stats.
But for the spirit eater himself/herself, when using swords or daggers does dexterity or strength determine the damage?
