How do I go about installing mods for skyrim?

Is this simple, or is it a long and complex process?

Off-topic, but I'm looking for sexy lingerie mods for skyrim, could someone point me in the direction of a popular lingerie mod?

actually it's quite simple, trouble shooting is probably the hardest part but you have these forums if you come into any problems.

so first get NMM or Nexus Mod Manager, install it then run it scan for games check Skyrim when it finds the right folder. select the red X for the rest of the games.

NMM: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/modmanager/?

next get LOOT and install it as well: https://loot.github.io/

also pick up TESedit: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/25859/?

guide to TESedit: http://www.creationkit.com/TES5Edit_Mod_Cleaning_Tutorial

then go on the Nexus and search for mods you'd like to use and download them via NMM, some mods require you to manually install them and will have instructions on how to do that. it's really simple so dont worry.

a few mods i recommend using:

Better Vampires

Racemenu

Dual Sheath Redux

Skyrim Unoffical patches

XP32 Maximum Skeleton

HDT

the Dawn Of series

a little sexy apparel

check out the West Wind series as well

if you use followers check out UFO

Alternate Start

Enhanced Character edit

if you use children check out RS Children Overhaul

for a funny quest mod (not quite lore friendly) check out Brhuce Hammar

Ethereal Elven Overhual

Cloaks of Skyrim

SkyUI

Better Dynamic Snow

a few mods you will no doubt need:

MCM menu

SKSE

just as a heads up you can only have 254 mods installed at any one time.

now for the lingerie part i need to know which body mod you will be using:

UNP: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/41051/?

or

CBBE: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/2666/?

I've got a question.

Could someone make a mod to make your character or an NPC look just like someone from a reality television show from 5 years ago?

Reference this thread to understand what I'm asking. http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/2380654-heathyr-hoffman-character-mod/&do=findComment&comment=20912659

If you're more of a visual person, like I am, you can watch Gopher's tutorials of how to mod Skyrim: Beginners Guide to Modding Skyrim.

I'm sure someone could make an NPC that looks like her. I know Jessica Alba and Angelina Jolie are on Nexus somewhere. haha. You've done the right thing by putting it in the requests section, so you'll just have to see if someone is up to the task. :)

I have ZERO knowledge of computer science and programming.

I'm no mod maker.

You don't have to have a degree in computer science to mod, just a willingness to learn. If you don't have that, you're going to struggle.

The tutorial I linked for you is not a guide on how to make mods, but how to install them correctly.

Is there anyone here who does private mod requests for free and can you refer me to them?

I know that there are "celebrity" mods that include Angelina Jolie, Jessica Alba, Megan Fox, Jennifer Lawrence.

So obviously it would be possible to create a mod of lesser known celebrities like those from obscure reality television shows. The only problem is finding someone willing to do it.

That is always the problem, mate. I had an issue where I wanted this follower mod, but was running Requiem 1.8 and he wasn't patched. I asked a few of the people who were making a lot of Requiem patches if they could please patch him for me. But the thing is, if there's only one person asking for a specific thing, most of them won't do it because their focus could be placed elsewhere on mods that A LOT of people or they themselves need or want. In the end, I had to learn how to patch him myself (which was a pain because, like you, I had no knowhow when it came to making mods) to get him running with Requiem. Sometimes you will have to do that if you want certain things.

Someone might do it for you, though. :)

I would forever be in the debt of whoever could do this.

You have no idea what this would mean to me!

Furthermore, I actually dated this gorgeous gal for a few months before she dumped me for another man.
