With that said, would skyrim be compatible with windows 8.1? Here is all the info about my computer down to the apps i have installed: Operating System: Windows 8.1 64-bit (6.3, Build 9600) System Manufacturer: Dell Inc. System Model: Inspiron 3521 BIOS: A12 Processor: Intel® Core i3-3227U CPU @ 1.90ghz (4 CPUs) Memory: 6144MB RAM Page File: 4575MB Used, 3540MB available Directx Version: Directx 11 Display:Intel® HD Graphics 4000 Manufacturer: Intel Corp. Approx. Total Memory: 1792 MB Driver Model: WDDM 1.3 Sound: Type: WDM Driver Version: 6.00.001.6788 (English) List of apps: Runescape Client, League of Legends, Age of Empires: Age of Kings and Conquerors Expansion, Itunes, Bandicam, Splash Lite, Windows Defender, Super Anti-Spyware Pro (Trial Version), Bonjour, Adobe Flash Player 15 PlugIn, Steam, VideoPad Video Editor, Cyberlink Power DVD 10. dayglo98 Posted December 18, 2014 Share Posted December 18, 2014 Works perfectly fine but yeah, HD 4000 is really crap, so is any i3/i5 where the model name ends with a U (they are the low-power variants of the i3/i5, or something like that). Kaleeon Posted December 19, 2014 Share Posted December 19, 2014 I am running Skyrim on a Windows 8.1 Laptop with almost no Problems. System is the ASUS ROG G751JY with a Nvidia GTX980M Card.You can google the other specs if interested. Skyrim runs fine with almost 100 Mods installed and all Graphic settings on max.
