NMM forcing specific load order after using loot!

Ok, I really really need help with this. I've used loot a couple times, and generally it's useful, but not in this case. For example, I'm trying to install a certain mod, and I know that loot f*#@s it up big time. So I install these mods last. However, after a certain number of mods, it magically turns whatever I install next into 3, 4 and 5Athen contonues. Random letters to earlier numbers that is totally ruining my load order. There's some invisible load order that is forcing my new mods to go into it, and it's infuriating. Any ideas?

I....am not sure I understand the issue. The purpose of LOOT -is- to automatically arrange your plugins into an optimal load order. Installation order and load order are two different things. Am I missing something? Do you mean that NMM prevents LOOT from rearranging your load order? Close NMM when you run LOOT.

No...

Loot isn't perfect, and sometimes it will load certain mods before a master file. For example, the body mod I want to use for one of my races loads before the race, despite the race being a master. This makes it so the body doesn't activate and it stays vanilla. I actually misudnerstood that the 5A isn't before 6, but after 59. I didn't understand the hex order until someone explained it to me. That said, my question is resolved.

I actually spent about an hour rearranging my mod list so that certain mods didn't end up in the hexadecimal section because of it. All for nothing, lol.

Hex is easy, there are sixteen digits, 0 through F. Now try Binary.

There are 10 kinds of people, those that understand binary and those that don't.

Here is a quick reference chart that may help.
