bben46
That is not a NMM problem, but a Windows feature. You need to allow your account to make changes through your windows.

JustinMage
I recently downloaded the latest version of NMM. First, I had to delete the older version, using MS Windows Uninstall program, but I kept the, I think, configuration file as recommended by the NMM instructions. Then I reinstalled the latest version. My problem is that the new version was not installed in the same site as the older version, disconnecting it from the configuration file. As a result, the new NMM does not have all the current mods identified. My question is where should the new NMM version be installed in relation to the configuration file? Should it be in the same folder as the config file or in another folder just above the config or in some other location entirely? Or is there some place that I can tell the NMM where to find the config file? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
