My favourite npc has to Martin, the only true feel of companionship through the game. Probably followed by Baurus.

maw I cant remember his name for the life of me, it's that skooma addict you have to skill around the talos district for the darkbrotherhood, he musta gave me 30 full minutes of laughter. I thought it funny bethesda's view of skooma strikly resembles something of the real world.

My favourite NPC is the Adoring Fan. It has been so fun to crush the life out of him over, and over, and over again. :D Also he scared the crap out of me once. I wanted to test his "loyalty" so I brought him in to Oblivion. Of cource, he died. Later, I was stealthing (is that even a word) my way through an ayleid ruin when I turned around, I screamed and ran. Since then, I have killed him several times to get revenge for scaring me. He has yet to pay...

Next would have to be Lucien Lachance. He took me under his wing and made me what I am today...a cold hearted, sadistic, murderer...I'll always remember the few sparse moments we had...

Bugak gro-Bol of Southern Books in Leyawiin is a hoot. It's like having Mr. T for a librarian.

"...I'm Bugak gro-Bol, and I say you better buy a damn book. Don't just peek at them! Buy one!"

That's a great line. I forgot about that guy. I should sit there reading books and putting them back just to piss him off again...

I very much liked Baurus and regretted that he didn't survive the battle in Bruma. But my favorite NPC is Deetsan, the argonian mage in Cheydinhal who helped me against Falcar. Argonians are great in general.

My favourite NPC in Oblivion is commander Burd. He survived the Oblivion trip with me along with one more soldier. But i think there a bug with him beacuse he battled the battle for Bruma with a green coat and not his uniform.

I always wondered about that as well, so when Cassie-the-assassin V2.1 completed the Bruma Gate quest, she took a peek at Burd's inventory to figure out what was going on.

Apparently the reason Burd ends up in his green doublet is because his Bruma guard cuirass ends up completely broken. After the beating he's bound to take (he's unkillable in this mission, so he takes ungodly amounts of damage during its course) the armor fails to survive, and the game does some sort of equipment check as he (we) re-emerge in Bruma.

Cassie is going to have to sneak an enchanted perma-Bound cuirass on the fellow. I guess he's just that likeable.

I like the orc from the DB. He's such a |)ick... He killed some 5 year old and laughed about it. He's a beast though.
