I don't think think that is a wolf head.

A couple of pointy ears and a snout.... a fox then?

Well I have the crimson and Dalish green textures done. The only problem with the method I used to do it, which was the easy way, is it makes it so every one of our swords you and your companions are using will have that same handle color. I am still new to the ways of the force as far as tinting goes lol. I will see what kind of interest there is for this. I am guessing most would just want to wait until we get the tint mapping done.

If possible you could make it UDK compatible with your own custom color presets.

These look really good. I have only one thing about the stats. Going by your story, which is very good, and by what Merril says in the Dalish Origin, the damage to darkspawn doesn't make sense. Arlathan fell long before there were any darkspawn, so the elves would have no way to enchant them, or however, against something that did not exist. Otherwise a really good sword.

It can make sense if you don't take it literally. The darkspawn weakening and the darkspawn damage are inherent aspects of these swords (not imposed enchantments) which are pure and therefore damage beings of corruption. There is no argument that the darkspawn are the very essence of corruption as far as living things go. They even have the ability to corrupt the old gods turning them into archdemons. Here is that lore...

After all, I made a lot of the rest of it up too and just tied it loosely to lore to be interesting. *wink*

This is based on the Kit Rae design named Mithrodin. I looked at a couple of those actual swords on different sword sites and it just looks like detail work, not an attempt to emulate an animal head to me. You are welcome to interpret what you see in any way you see fit. These are releasesd for the public's enjoyment and if you see an animal head, then on yours its an animal head. *grins*

I know some of you are English as a second language speakers/readers. I can only speak and read English so I have always been impressed with those of you who can speak multiple languages. Never be afraid to ask for help.

What we don't want is people not reading the description and Installation then complaining about something not working. I know some of you speak English a lot easier than you read it and some of the technical stuff is hard to understand/translate for you when it is in English. (nice job Nim getting it worked out)

I salute you ESL people out there. I guarantee that I couldn't read it at all, let alone install it if it was written in one or your languages.

Hi,
Just wanted to say thanks for the great effort in making these awesome swords.

But one thing I noticed is that rune visual effects seem to not display when applied to these swords....but not a big deal though.

Regards,

*smiles* good eyes. The runes won't have visual effects yet on any of our swords. That little easter egg is a tip-off of a future release that won't be completed for a little while. We are concentrating on getting the 2h version out and the daggers completed and ready for testing. My partner also has his own stuff he is working on. He doesn't like to release things until they are ready, and I agree with that philosophy, so please be patient with updates and releases. We want them to be of the same quality of our initial sword release.
