April Fools by Accident (or Fallout 4 did not come out today

The day Fallout 4 did NOT come out:

 

 

So I am a pretty groggy person in the morrning. I woke up and staggered to bathroom, and then decided to to check in with my brother in law (they live in a different part of our house).

Per usual, he was totally engrossed in a game he was playing.

 

I asked hime where they went to dinner. Without looking up or stopping, he said the name of a local place.

 

Then I asked, "What are you playing?"

 

He said, "Fallout 4"

 

At this point, my brain said, "Woah. No. Fallout 4 is years away/. You heard him wrong."

 

[Editorial note: my family is the kind of people who, when challenged, wonder if we might be wrong. My brother-in law is stubborn and ALWAYS sure he is right. But I forgot this as it was early.]

 

"Fallout 4?"

 

"yeah."

 

"Like the Fallout series?"

 

"yeah."

 

At this point, the rational side of my brain said, "No way."

But the emotional said screamed like a little kid, "OMG OMG OMG FALLOUT 4 HAD A STEALTH RELEASE! O! O!"

 

My rational brain said to me "challenge this dude."

 

So I said, "Fallout 4 has NOT RELEASED YET."

 

Then he said, "Oh. I meant Far Cry 4"

 

Well, no fallout 4 today, but the adrenaline woke me the eff up.

 

Now of to played morrowind modded with MGSO.

Fallout 4!

 

Disappointment adds a new pressure to my brain. Another disturbed moment for me to linger on. One reason is I would rather play a scene like the Washington Wastelands again. *Stomps silly notion back into the brains dark closet.*

 

Somebody bring Fallout 4 to life!

 

I don't care if it is on a little island in the middle of no seas anywhere.

 

Bomb it and lets get to it, in Fallout 4.

 

Let's start a KickStarter! Let's see how many backers would like to kick Bethesda and Interplay out of the Fallout scene, so we can wield our game mentality on the playground of, "Fallout 4" !
