for those having problems with the injury kit... the description has been modified and a codex entry should have come up..
injuries kits only remove LIGHT injuries. Serious injuries may only be removed by the restoration spell. Near-death injuries (non-casual difficulties only) may only be removed by a temple.
BG2 was tough on character death. DA was very soft. this is somewhere in the middle.

To clarify the injury kit issue, these were light injuries: gaping wound and bruised eye (or similar), both listed as light injuries.
Could the problem be that I was trying to use a light injury kit rather than a full injury kit?

I can't wait to try this but have one question I couldn't find answered on your FAQ page: how does your extraction and conversion process work? Will I lose those files from my BGII install, preventing me from being able to replay from my saved BGII games, or does it just copy them and not affect the BGII install? Thanks

@berelinde - okay, will have to look into that. the injury kits were added fairly last minute, thought they were working, I may be wrong.
We'll be improving these systems in future modules. thanks for the feedback.

yes, jozukaze, that is the grand plan - to recreate all of BG2. We are releasing in modules and hope to have a rolling team that regularly gets new modders helping out without needing to commit their spare time for the next 2 years!
PM me or email bgredux -A.T- gmail.com or post in our forums or frankly just wave your arms and jump around if you want to get involved

I just finished the first part of the Dungeon and have to say: Great Work!
What you've done is really amazing and I appreciate your work.
Just one question: I didn't encounter any traps in the first dungeon, but I'm pretty sure there were traps in Irenicus room as well as the room of his wife.
Will there be traps in future releases? Is it a general problem?
Still, the missing traps are just a minor flaw and I can live without them
