Well, there's a lot of stuff from FO3 and it's DLC's in the game files (including alien ships). And there's no need for most of the Mothership Zeta DLC to make a second part of this mod in new vegas, since you probably won't be visiting the Olympus anyways.

Why would you not visit olympus?

Because at the TSC you need to be in service for one year before you get right to ascension (to get into the Olympus, basically a security protocol) and given the fact that it seems that the Courier will be a new recruit, you won't be able to get in yet. And I don't think the WHOLE ship exists at the New Vegas files, so..

Sure, except for the fact that Nylon can't give an exception to the courier porting the whole starship to New Vegas if it's not already in the game files (unless enough alien stuff exists in the game already and Nylon can sort of "recreate" part of the ship, though that would be difficult and it's unlikely to happen). Porting that stuff would be ilegal, I've seen plenity of ports being deleted at the nexus.

I don't think its illegal if you don't make a profit from it? But i'm not sure though. Can't you recreate it with modding tools.

It is, at least at the nexus. You can easily check that at the rules. And yes, I guess it's possible to recreate the ship if it's walls, floors, objects and stuff exists at the game files, though I guess it would be difficult.

@Sterki
You are absolutely sure of that? Ridiculous.

Maybe if the next few chapters are a big enough splash, Nylon will be able to put his files anywhere, with a placeholder file at the Nexus.

If you need a host, Nylon, I'll be more than happy to host whatever you need, and even design you a website, etc. for free at my record label website: damonrecords.com

Though that looks like spam it's not intended to be

@nickdb93 It's not that ridiculous, several files have been removed for being stuff like "hellfire power armor armor for new vegas", wich is one of the last of those I've seen. That's the same reason you need permission to port or modify files IF you are uploading them to the nexus, and honestly, getting explicit permission from Bethesda to port FO3 files would be rather hard (if not impossible). It's clearly ilegal at the nexus to port files, whenever they are meshes, textures... And frankly, I don't think Nylon is gonna do that.

I'm not saying that you're lying, I'm saying that that is a stupid rule. SO, you're saying that if someone, for example, ports Crysis armor for FO3, it can be removed from the Nexus? That is stupid.
I'm sure that Nylon will come up with a proper solution.

In other news, I saw a request for voiced soldiers to salute you (PC) in FO3's MZC, and I would like to second it. If slicer51b or nylon or someone could do smething like that (taking that code from Operation Anchorage, perhaps?) That would be cool.
