The Geck View window no longer actively updates lighting.

I'm having to Shut down and restart the GECK in order to see the effects of my changes.

Needless to say this is frustrating. Any solutions?

Alright some progress....kind of...

I noticed objects will get re-lit if they are moved slightly.

So method.

1. Move the light emitter to where you want.

2. Select All objects making sure snap is off.

3. Move everything slightly, then undo Ctrl-Z.

This should cause all objects to be updated and effected correctly by the light.

Pain in the @%_@_%^@^@^ ass. Wish I knew what the problem was =(

I'm having the exact same problem. Hopefully there's an alternative way to fix this issue.

Same problem here.
New to modding (kind of) and I am trying to create a player home formyself. Everything else is working and was easy to learn so far but the lighting is just killing me. Ive tried my gfx settings, update drivers, compability settings, disabling my secondary monitor. Nothing seems to help
I also have problems with hiding things like light markers. None of the hide options works. Its getting frustrating. Anyone found a fix?

E: Seems that if you press left mb and drag your mouse over everything while holdin S brings the lighting effect back.
