Firstly, I just want to say that I adore this mod. I cannot stand the original leveling system in Oblivion. Not only does it make absolutely no sense to me, but it forces me to level skills that I don't want to level in order to maximize stats and keep myself from getting destroyed by enemies that are getting way stronger than I am. And I value immersion, and this mod helps with that, I think. I can play my character the way I want to play him/her and give her increased skills that make sense for that character.
So thanks for this!
On a side note, I also encountered an odd bug where the level up menu wouldn't work. I've successfully played all the way to level 50 with one character without issue, but then on a new character I made (After installing a few more mods), the menu wouldn't come up when I clicked the "Click Here to Level Up" panel in the character menu. I don't know what triggered this. I did adjust the leveling rate for my new character via the ini (My old character leveled too fast with my settings), and then I installed a few mods, like Enhanced Economy. But I don't see why they should affect the leveling. At any rate, it's easy to work around. It was a different problem, but some people below commented about the "advlevel" command would fix the issue they were having. Worked for this too, just fine.
Just thought I'd report it, just in case. Might just be a fluke, though...
Anyway, thanks for the continued service on this amazing mod! I couldn't imagine playing Oblivion without it.

Yeah, have a look at my reply a couple of posts back. You can't change the levelling parameters after you've already gained a level, but haven't distributed your points yet. I'm not sure there's anything I can do about it.

Did you happen to fix the bug where:
Companion Mod NPC's do not grant the player experience?
Cause I had the old version sometime ago before I upgraded and sometimes with companion npc's added by other mods didn't grant the player experience.

Oh, and by the way the mod was Companion Share and Recruit. Just so you know . . .

If the companion mod registers the companions as followers, then yes, you'll get experience for their kills.

Would somebody explain the install for me? Preferrebly not through making it an omod file, it takes an eternity to get from 4% to 5% alone when compressing. Thank you!!

Right. . . Ok then. The "Old Version" I was talking about was the old version of Oblivion XP 4.1.5. . . So I had that some time ago before I downloaded your update and Companion share and Recruit gave the ability to recruit the vanilla npcs as followers. Once I recruited them I wasn't getting experience for there kills, or only certain companions gave XP. So I updated to your 4.2.4 and I wasn't getting the bug anymore.
. . . I posted this just so you know that this sometimes happens. . .

Quick Question. . . Do you know if I can put in an Experience Cap in the ini file? I know there is a level cap, yet that isn't specific enough for what I am trying to do.
I am trying to do a play-through similar to the baldur's gate series.
Where:
Saravok = Umbra
Jon Irenicus = Mankar Camoran
Amellissan = Mehrunes Dagon
I call it In-game LARPing where you pretend your in another game in an Open world game such as Oblivion.
I just like to do this because the main quest for oblivion is SO short that you can complete it in under 20 minutes, and all the side quests have NOTHING to do with the main story.
You can just . . . er . . . just point me in the right direction. Like what line I need to put in the ini file.
