microphone suggestions

Blue Yeti microphones are good quality for low price... Just keep in mind that they are omni-directional and will pick up vibration if not attached to a mic stand.

 

For voice recording though, what's usually more important is to have a place where you don't have any ambient noise.You can enhance even a cheap microphone between audio tweaking, compressor, or a pop filter, but removing ambient noise can be absolute hell and require many attempts to record something usable.
