Hi there

I feel like a total noob for posting this, but I can't seem to get NV to recognize my perk. I've made an entry point perk allowing (hopefully) the player to loot unconscious NPC's, but when I try to add it to the character with script, it won't work...even when I add it with console, it says my perk is an unrecognized perk. This is kind of embarrassing, as I've done this before with fo3 and it worked fine the first try. I feel like I'm just forgetting or missing something really simple, but I've been trying to figure out what it is for a little while now to no avail. Any thoughts?

You are using the FormID not the EditorID right? ie player.addperk (FormID)

Ok, well, it turns out I WAS using the editor ID...but now I actually am using the form id in the console and i can't get the game to recognize my perks with the player/addperk or removeperk command. I've tried messing with the load order in FOMM and changing the first two digits of the formID accordingly, or just typing it in as it appears in the geck, still not recognized. Another thing i've noticed is that FOMM always wants to load my mod last, regardless of the actual physical load order i select, though I'm not sure if the two problems have anything to do with each other.

I'm having the EXACT same problem! I'm not an expert, but I'm hardly a noob at this, either. I haven't messes with Perks since Fallout 3.
Any time I created new perk, I'm having this problem. Even have it when I simply make a newformID from a perk. I KNOW I'm not ticking some box or whatnot, but I don't know what that box is!
Help, pretty please?
